Man Sentenced For Attack On Co-Worker With Forklift, Gun

A man was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison after admitting he rammed a co-worker’s truck with a forklift and shot him in the shoulder.

Brian Walter McGuire, 40, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault for the Oct. 25 attack in the parking lot of a cabinet shop in Maltby, a small town northeast of Seattle.

Prosecutors said McGuire was upset that his ex-girlfriend, who also worked at the cabinet shop, had started dating his co-worker.

Prosecutors said McGuire repeatedly rammed the man’s truck with a forklift and fired six shots at him.
