Neighborhood Meetings

The newly organized Comstock Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday at Sacajawea Middle School to talk about its plans for the neighborhood.

Comstock residents turned out in force in January for an organizational meeting. Leaders of the council are now expected to go before the City Council Monday to be recognized as the city’s 25th neighborhood council.

The meeting at 7 p.m. will continue that organizing work.

The Thorpe-Westwood Neighborhood Council meets tonight at 7 at the Windsor Grange, 4420 S. Assembly. The agenda was not available.

The Cliff-Cannon Neighborhood Council will hear from Spokane County Commissioner John Roskelley when it meets Tuesday at Roosevelt Elementary School, 333 W. 14th, at 7 p.m.

Roskelley will talk about city-county cooperation.
