Two Homes Damaged By Drive-By Shooters

Spokane police investigated a drive-by shooting that damaged two residences in the 1600 block of East Rockwell early Wednesday morning.

Two residents told police they heard a series of shots just before 5 a.m. Police found a hole in a front window at one house and a corresponding hole in a wall behind the window. They also found a bullet hole in the front of the house next door. No one was injured.

Witnesses told police about eight males and females left one house and drove away in a 1980s white two-door Toyota and 1990s white Chevrolet Blazer after the shots were fired. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
