Council will discuss city manager position, conduct a hearing on the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway refueling depot and issue a judgment in a dispute over a South Hill monopole, used for cellular phone communications.

Solid Waste Liaison Board

Monday, 1:30 p.m., City Council briefing center, Spokane City Hall.

Spokane County Commission

Tuesday, 9 a.m., weekly briefing session, county courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway.

Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., meeting with Public Works Director Gary Oberg, county courthouse.

Discussion on county’s interim zoning ordinance and building sites outside the current interim urban growth areas.

Tuesday, 11 a.m., executive session to discuss pending litigation, county courthouse.

Tuesday, 2 p.m., weekly meeting for nonhearing items, public works building, 1026 W. Broadway.

Agenda includes decisions on Inland Power & Light Co.’s request to renew a permit allowing the company to install power lines on county rights of way in the Pleasant Prairie area.

Agenda will be available at meeting. Likely discussion items include hiring of parking consulting firm and restructuring of garage’s fee structure and debt.

City Plan Commission

Wednesday, noon, room 200-2B, City Hall.

Agenda includes discussion of six-year water, sewer and street programs. There will also be discussion on a request by Greenstone Corp. to amend land use plan map and amending the zoning code to be consistent with recently adopted downtown plan.

Design Review Committee

Wednesday, 3 p.m., City Council Briefing Center, lower level, City Hall.

Agenda items include discussion of downtown guidelines and mini-storage design guidelines.
