The Spokane City Council will tackle two controversial issues at today’s meeting.
The council will discuss and possibly vote on the city manager vacancy. It also will conduct a hearing on Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway’s proposed refueling depot in North Idaho.
Also on the agenda is a decision on a cellular communications monopole on the South Hill.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the City Council chambers on the lower level of City Hall. The council will hold its briefing session starting at 3:30 p.m. Both meetings are scheduled to be televised on City Cable 5.
