Men Arrested After Meth Lab Raid
Two Ferry County men are in the county jail after a weekend raid on a pair of methamphetamine labs in the Curlew area.
Vance Kinchen, 40, and Joseph Ryncarz, 43, were arrested when they returned to Kinchen’s rural Tonasket Creek home while sheriff’s officers were investigating the meth lab they found there.
Sheriff Pete Warner said Kinchen ran into the woods, but later was apprehended without incident when he was turned in by the wife of a neighbor who had been hiding him. Warner said a second lab belonging to Kinchen and Ryncarz was found in a large tool box in a van.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine. In addition, Ryncarz was being held on suspicion that he illegally possessed a firearm.
