Neighborhood Meetings

The Peaceful Valley Neighborhood Council meets on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Peaceful Valley Neighborhood Center.

Its agenda includes election of officers for 2000, a discussion of the best method for spending refuse cleanup money, and a talk about sidewalk repairs.

The Riverside Neighborhood Council meets Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Room 1-A of the downtown Spokane Library at Main and Lincoln.

Members will hear an annual report on work by the council.

Other business includes discussion of draft bylaws for incorporating the neighborhood council as a nonprofit group.
