Chase Nominations Are Due By Friday

Community on members are encouraged to nominate young people to be recognized at the upcoming Chase Youth Awards ceremony.

The deadline for nominations is Friday. The ceremony will be held March 28 at the Spokane Opera House.

Parents, teachers, youth workers and neighbors are invited to nominate young people for their personal achievements and contributions to the community. Anyone may nominate a young person for an award.

Awards are given to students for citizenship, community service, courage, creativity, diversity, leadership and personal achievement. The categories are open to individual students or groups.

All nominees will be honored at the awards ceremony, and winners will receive medallions and scholarships.

Nomination forms are available at Spokane libraries and community centers. Nominations also can be made online at www.spokanecity.org/ youthlink.
