Three Transient Men Arrested In Assault

Spokane police arrested three transient men Monday night for allegedly assaulting another homeless man.

William J. Abbott, 40; Kevin E. Foley, 33; and Ryan C. Kelly, 23, were arrested and booked into jail on second-degree assault charges after they allegedly attacked a 41-year-old man behind the House of Charity at 9 W. Main at around 8:30 p.m.

The victim suffered injuries after he was allegedly hit on the head with a large rock by one of the suspects. The remaining two then allegedly kicked him while he was on the ground.

The injured man was treated and released from a local hospital.
