Missed Hearing, Youth Arrested

An Idaho teen who failed to appear at a juvenile burglary hearing was arrested on Friday in the Spokane Valley.

A 16-year-old was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy at the corner of Broadway Avenue and Havana Street after he was allegedly seen climbing a fence in the area.

The youth was wanted in Kootenai County.

He was arrested and booked into Spokane County juvenile detention for being a fugitive from justice.
