North Idaho Limits TVcc To 26 Points

Women’s basketball

North Idaho College held Treasure Valley to 20 percent shooting and forced 26 turnovers in a Southwest Athletic Conference game at Christianson Gym on Thursday.

With those numbers, it’s easy to follow how the Cardinals were able to post a 68-26 victory.

The Cardinals didn’t scorch the nets, either, shooting 39 percent. But that was plenty as NIC took a 26-13 halftime lead and added 42 points in the second half.

NIC’s Amy Lewis, with 17 points, was the lone player to score double figures. She made all five of NIC’s 3-pointers.

Heather Cox had a game-high 10 rebounds for the Cardinals.
