Washington Man Dies In U.S. 95 Collision

A Pullman man was killed Thurs- day afternoon in a head-on collision near Athol, Idaho, according to the Idaho State Police.

Robert C. Riggleman, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, Matthew R. Timlin, 15, of Hayden Lake, was taken to Kootenai Medical Center where he was in critical condition Thursday night.

According to ISP, Riggleman was driving north on Highway 95, just south of Silverwood, in a 1993 Toyota pickup. Timlin, traveling south in a 1995 Cherokee Jeep, crossed over the center line, striking the pickup head on, ISP said.

Citations are pending and the crash remains under investigation, ISP said.
