Masked Gunmen Rob Shadle Mcdonald’S

From Staff Reports

A North Side McDonald’s was robbed late Saturday by two masked men armed with handguns, Spokane police said.

The men, wearing black ski masks, entered the Shadle Shopping Center restaurant, 2211 W. Wellesley, at 9:45 p.m. brandishing pistols, police spokesman Dick Cottam said. After demanding and taking an undisclosed amount of money, the men fled the store heading east.

The men did not fire their weapons during the holdup, and no one was hurt, Cottam said.

The first suspect was described as skinny, white but well-tanned, with blue eyes, between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10, wearing black corduroy pants and a blue jacket.

The second suspect was described as white or Hispanic, between 5 foot 9 and 5 foot 11, medium build, wearing green corduroy pants and dark clothing.

Police were searching for the suspects, Cottam said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
