Services Affected By Presidents Day

Presidents Day on Monday is a holiday for some:

Schools: Closed.

Mail: No delivery, but some services provided at the Riverside and Liberty Park stations.

Government offices: Federal, state and county offices closed. City of Spokane offices open.

Libraries: Spokane city and county libraries are open.

Parking meters: Must be fed.

Buses: STA Service on regular weekday schedule.

Garbage: Regular pickup for Valley Garbage and Spokane Regional Solid Waste. Regular pick-up for Western Refuse customers, except for Airway Heights, where pickup will be delayed a day.

Liquor stores: Closed.

Local journalism is essential.
