Senior guard Daryl Wilder, a Moscow native, scored 19 of his game-high 21 points in the first half, and the Lake City Timberwolves defeated the visiting Moscow Bears 59-43 to win the A-1 Region I basketball tournament for the second consecutive year.

The T-Wolves (20-3) will meet a still-to-be-determined opponent in their state opener.

Wilder made all five of his 3-point attempts and 7 of 9 shots from the floor overall in the first half.

Moscow, 0-3 against Lake City this year, can qualify for state by winning a sub-regional game on Saturday.
