Bodine Released From Hospital
Geoffrey Bodine was released from the hospital, four days after his fiery truck wreck at Daytona International Speedway.
Bodine flew home to North Carolina, speedway spokeswoman Kathy Catron said. He met with an orthopedic surgeon in Charlotte, where he will have surgery Sunday to replace a plate in his right wrist.
Bodine broke the wrist, a vertebrae and his right ankle when his truck hit a wall at 190 mph and cartwheeled wildly down the track in flames.
