Tier Ii State Hockey This Weekend

Youth teams from around the state will compete today through Monday at Eagles Ice-A-Rena and Ice World USA in the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association’s Tier II state tournament.

Entries come from Seattle, North Seattle, Tacoma, the Tri-Cities, Vancouver and Wenatchee, as well as Spokane, competing for the opportunity to play in regional tournaments next month in California and Nevada. The Spokane American Youth Hockey Association is the host.

All teams will be in action Saturday and Sunday, playing from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Spectator admission is free.
