No One Hurt In Mobile Home Fire

A Post Falls man escaped without injury early Sunday afternoon when his mobile home was destroyed by fire.

The fire was caused by a broken propane pipe inside the home, said engineer Rick Clutter of the Post Falls Fire Department. The fuel was ignited by a propane lantern that was burning, Clutter said. There was no power to the residence, located in the Chateau Mobile Home Park off State Highway 41.

Clutter couldn’t provide the name of the occupant. A Red Cross representative was there to help the man, he said.
