Workshop To Explain United Way Grants

Applications for next year’s United Way of Kootenai County grants will be available at an upcoming workshop.

To qualify for money from the United Way, groups must be: taxexempt, directed by a volunteer board, administered by a paid staff member, able to meet financial accountability standards, and able to serve without discrimination as to race, color, sex, religion or national origin.

Groups meeting the criteria are invited to attend the grant-writing workshop from 10-11:30 a.m. March 8 in Classroom 2 at Kootenai Medical Center.
