Racing for the America’s Cup is scheduled to resume today in New Zealand.

Six teams, three of them American, survived the preliminary rounds and are competing in the semifinal round of the Louis Vuitton Cup regatta to determine who will challenge Team New Zealand, the America’s Cup defender.

Among the matchups: Newport sailor Ken Read, driving Dennis Conner’s Stars & Stripes, is scheduled to face Peter Gilmour, driving for Japan.
