Gambill Wins In Doubles

Jan-Michael Gambill of Colbert and U.S. partner Scott Humphries won their doubles match in the AAPT Championships tennis tournament in Adelaide, Australia, beating third-seeded Andrew Kratzmann and Peter Tramacchi (3), Australia, 6-3, 6-0.

In the Australian Women’s Hardcourt at Gold Coast, top-seeded Julie Halard-Decugis and top-draw Anna Kournikova were beaten in the quarterfinals.
