Tree Recycling Winds Up Sunday
Valley high school band boosters will continue their Christmas tree recycling programs through this weekend only.
A story published in the Dec. 30 Valley Voice stated that the recycling effort would continue later into January.
Valley residents can drop off their trees between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today and Sunday at several sites. The cost is $3.
Drop-off sites include: West Valley High School, the WV administration building, Pasadena Park Elementary, the Safeway on Argonne, University High School, University Elementary, Broadway Elementary, Chester Elementary, Central Valley High, McDonald Elementary, Progress Elementary, Sunrise Elementary, Liberty Lake Elementary and at 44th Avenue and Sands Road.
Proceeds benefit the bands at Central Valley, University and West Valley high schools. East Valley is not participating.
