Gonzaga Student Named Miss Spokane
Fianna Dickson was named Miss Spokane 2000 during a pageant at the Met Theater Saturday.
Dickson, 20, was awarded a $2,000 scholarship and will serve as Spokane’s official hostess, focusing on educating the community about safe driving.
First runner-up was Jill Davisson, second runner-up was Jillian Cerna and third runner-up was Jessica Raebel. Eleven women competed in the contest.
Dickson is a 1997 graduate of Ferris High School and a student at Gonzaga University.
She was a Lilac princess in 1997 and a second runner-up in the Miss Spokane contest in 1998.
Dickson will participate in the Miss Washington competition. The winner of that contest will compete in the Miss America pageant.
