Ministries Founder Presenting Workshops
Salem Lutheran Church is one of several Spokane churches hosting workshops by special guest Keith Ferrin next week. Ferrin is the founder of “That You May Know Ministries.”
“Spiritual Food For the Hungry: Biblical Storytelling Workshop,” a class for pastors, lay leaders and church staff, will be held at Salem from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Teacher enrichment workshop
A teacher enrichment workshop titled “Falling in Love With God’s Word,” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. next Thursday at Central Lutheran Church, 512 S. Bernard. The session on creative Bible teaching is designed for Christian education teachers, youth ministers and pastors.

Evening for youth next Friday
Youth and parents are invited to attend a dessert theater from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th. The performance will feature a one-act monologue of the Gospel of John.

Churches join for unity service
The congregation of Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church will join with the members of Trinity United Methodist Church for a service of Christian unity at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity, 1725 E. Bridgeport. The guest speaker is the Rev. Brian Heath.
Movie about marriage on Sunday
The First Church of the Nazarene will show the movie “A Vow to Cherish” at 6 p.m. Sunday. The movie tells the story of a husband and wife dealing with the wife’s debilitating illness and the strain it puts on their marriage vows.
The film was produced by World Wide Pictures, the motion picture ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
