Two weeks after he was stabbed in his home near London, George Harrison and wife Olivia expressed thanks to all who wished them well. “Olivia and I are overwhelmed by the concern expressed by so many people. We thank everyone for their prayers and kindness,” the former Beatle said. The couple also released a photo taken Saturday while on vacation in Ireland. Harrison, 56, received a knife wound to the chest that collapsed his right lung while fighting off the intruder Dec. 30. Olivia also was scratched and bruised in the scuffle. Michael Abram, 33, was charged with attempted murder. Now in a psychiatric unit for observation, he’s due in court Feb. 11.
