Beyond.com said it will cut about 20 percent, or 75 jobs, of its work force as part of a restructuring plan.

The nation’s two largest airlines are matching No. 5 Continental Airlines in adding a fuel surcharge of $20 per round trip, Continental on Tuesday announced it is imposing the surcharge on travel beginning Feb. 1. The surcharge spread Wednesday to United Airlines and American Airlines.
