Valley Car Chase Ends In Arrest

A Spokane Valley man was arrested after a car chase Saturday morning.

The chase began at 9:30 a.m. Saturday near Argonne Road and Mission Avenue, where a sheriff’s deputy spotted a black Ford Mustang spinning its tires.

The deputy said he turned on his lights to stop the car, but the Mustang swerved across two lanes of traffic and turned east from Argonne onto Boone Avenue.

The Mustang flew through the back streets between Broadway Avenue and Mission Avenue at speeds exceeding 60 mph and ran three stop signs before being stopped by deputies in the parking lot at HiCo Village, 9219 E. Sprague, according to the Sheriff’s Office report.

John Adam Mosher, 22, 1410 N. Farr Road, was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on a charge of attempting to elude a police vehicle, which is a felony.
