Langlauf: Time To Register

Skiers have little time to train before the annual 10-kilometer Langlauf cross country race at Mount Spokane on Feb. 6. They have even less time to register and avoid the late fee. Cost is $15 for entries received before Friday. Add another $10 thereafter.

A free waxing clinic is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at Fitness Fanatics, 12425 E. Trent. Junior Langlauf, conducted on a very short course for kids 10 and under, will begin at 9:30 on Feb. 6, followed by the mass start for the main event at 11 a.m.

Medals and ribbons are awarded in many age categories for men and women, plus Woodies and Woollies categories for entrants on wood skis and natural fiber clothing. All entrants are eligible for valuable prizes drawings after the race.
