Jennifer Aniston is going online.

The “Friends” star will produce and star in an original series on the Voxxy network, an Internet entertainment channel for teen girls. The 13-episode series is one of the initial three or four original projects that will mark the launch of Voxxy in the spring.

The as-yet-untitled Aniston show will basically be “hanging out with Jennifer and her pals on Voxxy,” said co-founder Maxine Lapiduss, former producer and writer for such sitcoms as “Ellen,” “Roseanne” and “Home Improvement.” Aniston, her co-stars and guest stars are going to talk about anything that troubles or excites teenage girls. The show will originate from different locations, including a restaurant, cafe and maybe Aniston’s home.

It’s not clear yet whether the show will be scripted or improvised, but it will definitely be interactive. Those who have the right set-top boxes will be able to stream the show on their TV sets.

Other series that will be launched in the spring are an interactive “riot girl” dating game show and “Noise,” a music show hosted by Natasha Pearce (“Drive Me Crazy”). Coming later are an animated teenage soap opera and a series by the producers of MTV’s “Road Rules” and “Real World.” The total number of projects in development at Voxxy is about 20. A think tank of 1,000 girls helps creators shape up the programs.

Ultimately, Voxxy will be advertisement-supported 24-hour entertainment channel for teenage girls.

Voxxy - which derives its name from vox, the Latin word for voice, and the symbol for the female chromosome, XX - vows to give teenage girls a voice. “Our logo is - `Not Your Mother’s Network,’ ” said co-founder Hillary Carlip, author of “Girl Power: Young Women Speak Out.”

The project is backed by such notables as manager Connie Tavel, Billie Jean King, “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” co-star Caroline Rhea and Michael Gelman, executive producer of “Live With Regis & Kathie Lee.”
