Teens Arrested In Pot Complaint

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint about teenagers smoking marijuana behind a Valley grocery store Friday.

Three boys were allegedly seen smoking marijuana at 3:30 p.m. behind the Safeway store at 1441 N. Argonne Road.

Deputies found three 16-year-old Valley boys who matched the description walking southbound on Mullan Road.

The teens were arrested after deputies found what they believed to be parts of a marijuana pipe in two of the suspects’ clothing and a cigarette wrapper containing a small amount of marijuana in the pocket of the third boy.

The boys were arrested on a charge of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor marijuana possession and were released to their parents.
