The commission will hold a public meeting to discuss Inland Power & Light’s request to renew a permit allowing the company to install power lines on county rights of way in the Pleasant Prairie area.

Spokane City Council

Monday, 3:30 p.m., briefing session, City Council Chambers, lower level, City Hall.

6 p.m., regular meeting, City Council Chambers, lower level, City Hall.

The council will discuss reorganizing city government and the transition to the strong mayor form of government. Also on the agenda are resolutions on the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway refueling depot, on property tax exemptions for multifamily housing and on the Lincoln Street bridge.

Items on the agenda include a public hearing on a proposed stormwater control ordinance for the North Spokane Stormwater Planning Area and a decision on preliminary plat and rezone of Fraser Estates and Blue Heron Estates in North Spokane.
