Long Shots Good For Cf

Girls basketball

Long shots made Clark Fork anything but a long shot to win the North Star League championship.

Courtenay Kiebert and Sierra McDaniel combined to hit 8 of 16 3-pointers Saturday to fuel Clark Fork’s 59-30 win over visiting Kootenai.

The Wampus Cats (4-0 NSL) took a one-half game lead over Kootenai (4-1). Kootenai will finish its league season at home Friday against the same Wampus Cats.

CF’s Shana Worcester added 14 rebounds.
