Choir Will Present Homecoming Concert

The Higher Ground youth choir has returned from its concert tour and will present a homecoming concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Valley Assembly of God Church, 15618 E. Broadway.

More than 40 youth from the church have been performing at various sites in Canada during a 10-day concert tour.

All are welcome to attend.

Worship changes

Zion Lutheran Church is switching to its summer worship schedule this week. There will now be a combined worship service offered at 9 a.m. each Sunday. The schedule will continue through Labor Day.

The church is located at 8304 E. Buckeye.

Rummage sale and car wash

The Valley United Methodist Church is putting on a rummage sale Friday and next Saturday. Sale hours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The youth of the church will be selling ice cream bars and pop as well as washing cars in the parking lot. The church is located at 10422 E. Main.

Car wash Sunday

The youth of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection will have a car wash at the church on Sunday during the 8 and 10 a.m. worship services. The church is located at 15319 E. Eighth.
