State Grants Offered For Wiring Libraries
The Washington State Library is offering grants to help libraries get wired.
The state is now taking applications for Connectivity 2000 Plus grants, which are intended to provide electronic access to a variety of library services.
Applications must be received by Sept. 29. A total of $220,000 is available during this grant cycle. The maximum award is $40,000 per project.
All but federal libraries are eligible. This includes academic, public, school, special interest and tribal libraries.
