Farm Tours Being Offered

The Washington State University cooperative extension office is offering tours for city residents of the Wilke farm plots near Davenport on July 13.

The tour will feature 10-acre strips of experimental crops, including sunflowers, flax, peas and barley as well as an explanation of running the farm by Dale Deitrich. The trip costs $3 for adults and $2 for children. For more information, call Diana Roberts at 509-477-2167.
