Whether you’re gearing up for sporting clays shooting competition or getting an edge for the fall bird hunting seasons, one-day shooting courses scheduled this month near Spokane could boost the success rate.

Bob Knopf, a a National Sporting Clays Association certified instructor is sponsoring two one-day courses, July 29 and July 30 at Landt Farms Sporting Clays.

Each class is limited to no more than eight shooters. Cost: $260 plus ammunition. Info: 466-4036 or 360-225-5000.

Knopf also has published a book on how to improve clay target shooting skills. The book is direct, easy to understand and full of helpful tips from shooting basics to snapping expert shooters out of missing streaks.
