Suspect Arrested In Stabbing Death

A Renton-area man has been arrested by sheriff’s deputies in the stabbing death of another man at the Lake Desire home where both had been staying.

The Renton man, 28, was booked for investigation of homicide, King County sheriff’s investigators said Saturday. They said the men knew each other, but would not discuss any possible motive.

The death of Gary Ray Van Hove, 27, was discovered Friday when the woman he’d been staying with returned to her rural home and found her houseguest dead inside.
