Ex-Micron Worker Admits To Fraud

A former Micron Electronics employee has pleaded guilty to defrauding the company of approximately $116,000 and faces an Oct. 2 sentencing date for the crime.

Tera Michelle Yenter, 21, of Boise, made the plea last Monday in U.S. District Court. She admitted that while she worked as an accounts receivable specialist, she generated false credit memos that caused wire transfers to be made to her personal bank account and that of a friend.

Yenter also consented to the forfeiture of property she bought with the illegally obtained funds, including a 1999 Ford Explorer.
