Greenacres Man Rescued From River
A 20-year-old Greenacres man nearly drowned after attempting to swim across the Spokane River on Sunday afternoon. Two friends and an onlooker rescued him.
While swimming at Corbin Park, James R. Moss began bobbing up and down, police said. Two friends and a man on shore pulled Moss to safety.
Post Falls fire and emergency medical were dispatched at 4:55 p.m. and treated Moss before releasing him at the scene. Alcohol wasn’t a factor, police said.
