Police Arrest Six Men In ‘John Sting’
Spokane police conducted a “john sting” Saturday night on East Sprague and made six arrests of men suspected of soliciting prostitutes.
Two of the men arrested are out-of-state residents. One was from Libby, Mont., and the other from Mount Prospect, Ill. The other four were from Spokane.
In several of the arrests, drugs and illegal firearms were found, police said.
Police periodically conduct prostitution crackdowns on East Sprague. Female officers act as decoys and arrests are made when would-be customers proposition them for sex.
