Resurfacing Set

Resurfacing will begin Monday on a seven-mile stretch of Highway 27.

New pavement going in from 32nd Avenue south to Freeman will prevent further cracking along the road, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Traffic will likely be reduced to one lane along various sections of Highway 27 until the projected finish date in mid-October, the DOT said.
