Mayor Judy Begins Chats With Public
Coeur d’Alene Mayor Steve Judy will begin today what he hopes will be several “fireside chats” to dis- cuss city issues with residents.
The first chat will be held today at 7:30 a.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Inn.
Judy decided to host the community talks after receiving the results of a survey the city sent out in March.
Some 1,258 people responded. While 44 percent of those who responded said they felt the city overall was doing a “good” job, many others were critical of Judy and the City Council.
“We learned from the surveys we mailed out in March that although the citizens generally believe the city was doing a good job, they still raised many valid issues that should be discussed,” Judy said.
