Council Approves Subdivision, Annexation

The Coeur d’Alene City Council unanimously approved the Centennial Place subdivision between Hanley and Wilbur avenues.

The subdivision includes 138 residences and nine commercial lots just east of U.S. Highway 95 and west of Ramsey Road.

The City Council also voted unanimously to annex about 3 acres between the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course and the Jewett House on Sanders Beach.

Hagadone Corporation executive Jerry Jaeger wants to build a house on one of those lots.

“This is really the perfect annexation,” said local attorney Steve Wetzel on behalf of Jaeger.

“It will cost you very little and it will have two very nice houses to tax.”
