Five Mile Station Plans Open House

Spokane Fire District 9’s Station 95 will host an open house Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. to thank the fire district for the station’s recent remodel.

The roughly $225,000 project expanded the small station and provided a place for firefighters to hang up their gear.

At the open house, the MedStar helicopter is scheduled to make an appearance and a new heavy-rescue truck will be on display.

The station is located at the corner of Five Mile and Strong roads.
