Students Said To Have Spit On Cop’S Burger

Police are investigating three Post Falls High School students who allegedly spit on an officer’s hamburger Sunday night.

Two girls and a boy who work at Burger King at 4202 W. Expo Parkway allegedly were involved in the incident Sunday night, Capt. Jim Simmerman said.

A Post Falls officer pulled through the restaurant’s drive-through around 7 p.m. One of the girls told a teacher at Post Falls High School that one of the students spat on the officer’s food. The Police Department’s campus resource officer overheard the conversation, Simmerman said.

Possible malicious mischief charges are pending, Simmerman said.
