Churches Alter Worship Schedules

The kids are poised to dash out of school, and churches are changing their worship schedules, so we know it must be summer.

Several South Side churches are making the switch in worship times this weekend.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church begins its summer schedule Sunday. One worship service will be offered at 9 a.m. each Sunday, as well as a 5 p.m. Saturday service, until fall.

The church is located at 5720 S. Perry.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 W. Third, will now offer one worship service at 9 a.m. each Sunday. Sunday school classes will resume in the fall.

Covenant Christian Church, 5616 S. Palouse Highway, will have one worship service at 10 a.m. each Sunday beginning this week. Sunday school classes will resume in the fall.
