Churches Move Into Summer Mode
We know that summer is at hand when school lets out for the year and churches change their worship schedules to accommodate vacationing members.
Several Valley churches are making changes to their schedules this week.
Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will begin offering one Sunday service at 9 a.m. this week.
The church is offering a mid-week worship option with a service beginning at 7 p.m. each Wednesday.
This schedule will continue through September.
The church is located at 2511 S. Pines Road.
Hope Lutheran Church will also begin offering one worship service at 9 a.m. each Sunday beginning this week.
The summer schedule will continue through Labor Day.
The church is located at 17909 E. Broadway.
The Spokane Valley United Methodist Church, 10422 E. Main, is switching to one 9:30 a.m. worship service each Sunday beginning this week.
Sunday school classes have been suspended for the summer and will resume in the fall.
