FOR THE RECORD: 6-27-2000 Errors in story: A story in the June 19 Our Generation section misidentified the high schools of two students in the Washington State High School Photography Competition. They attended John Rogers High School in Puyallup. Also in that story, Dave Ainley’s name was misspelled.

Spokane-area students captured several awards in the 2000 Washington State High School Photography Competition.

Students from Shadle Park, Rogers and St. George’s won six awards. St. George’s winning photo is not shown. Students placing in the top three will have their work on display Thursday through July 16 at the Seattle Art Museum.

Rainier Photographic Supply of Seattle sponsors the annual contest to showcase the state’s young photographers. More than 3,000 photographs from students statewide were entered this year.
