Panel Holds Forum On Education Reform
The governor-appointed Academic Achievement and Accountability Commission is holding a public forum from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Shadle Park High School in Spokane.
The commission was created last year to oversee enforcement of the state’s education reform.
The public is invited to attend the meeting and offer feedback to help shape the commission’s draft recommendations on education accountability and assistance. Final recommendations will be forwarded to the Legislature this fall.
State schools Superintendent Terry Bergeson and commission chairman Patrick Patrick will attend the forum. The meeting is one of a series being held around the state.
Shadle Park is located at 4327 N. Ash St.
