Lourdes Hosts Organ Concert

Organists Janet Ahrend and James Barrett will perform a duo organ concert Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside. Ahrend is the organist at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, and Barrett is music director at the Lourdes.

Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be collected.

Bible school at Audubon church

Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., is planning a vacation Bible school session from July 10-13 at the church. The free classes are open to children in preschool through sixth grade and will run from 9 a.m. to noon daily. The theme of the event is “Good News at Gospel Rock.”

Outback VBS in Colbert

Colbert Chapel will host an “Outback Games” vacation Bible school this week. Classes will run from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Sunday through next Thursday. A barbecue will kick off the first day of classes at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Singer leads worship in Mead

Christian singer Dave Irish will perform in concert during the 8:30 and 10:15 a.m. worship services Sunday at Timberview Christian Fellowship, 15511 N. Howe Road. The Bellevue-based singer has recently completed his sixth album, titled “The More I Learn, the Less I Know.”
